Serge Aimé is a dancer-choreographer from Burkina Faso. He was born in Bobo Dioulasso. Since 2002, he has been working in Europe and around the world. His African culture is the source of his inspiration, and with his art, he aims to create a powerful contemporary dance that starts from feeling, but also carries reflection and hope. The power of his expressiveness makes his work universal and understandable on every continent. Since the creation of his company Faso Danse Théâtre in 2002, Serge Aimé has been working on complex themes and trying to give a real positive impulse to younger generations. Right from the start of his career, he has been invited to perform on various European and African stages (festivals) with his Kirina (2018), Kalakuta Republik (2016), Nuit Blanche à Ouagadougou (2014), Fadjiri (2013), Khokuma 7° Sud (2011), Babemba (2008), Solitude d'un Homme Intègre (2007), A Benguer (2006), Minimini (2002).
