Nicolas Bertrand

Nicolas Bertrand is an independent consultant operating between Lyon and Geneva. He specialises in designing and facilitating international cooperations across the music, performing arts, visual arts, and heritage sectors, with a focus on European funding strategies.
Active in key European cultural networks including REMA (Réseau Européen des Musiques Anciennes) and the European Festivals Association (EFA), he has contributed to organising the A Soul for Europe conference in Berlin since 2006 and co-organised the first IETM meeting in Lyon in 2021. His portfolio includes projects developed with several European Capitals of Culture.
From 2001 to 2018, he served as Administrator for the company Image Aiguë (Artistic Director: Christiane Véricel), which produced and toured work in over 40 countries.
