The capital of Slovenia welcomes autumn with the talent of young, prize-winning musicians and warms winter with the melodies of the finest musicians from Slovenia and abroad.

33rd Young Virtuosi Concert Series
For more than three decades, Young Virtuosi Concert Series has been opening doors to promising musicians from Slovenia and abroad and offering them the opportunity to introduce themselves to a wider audience. From 2 October 2025 to 2 April 2026 the programme features a wealth of young, prize-winning artists whose talent and dedication promise a series of outstanding musical evenings.
Piano and strings will once again form the central thread, alongside woodwind, saxophone and brass players:

9th Winter Festival
Between 10 February and 2 March 2026 the city will come alive with the Winter Festival, which for the ninth year in a row will bring together the finest musicians from Slovenia and abroad and conjure up a unique winter atmosphere. The festival has become an unmissable part of the cultural life of Ljubljana, where tradition and artistic excellence meet.

- 17 February: Slokar Quartet
- 18 February: Ensemble Dissonance, conductor Miguel Ángel Navarro and trumpeter Vicente Campo
- 28 February and 1 March: finals of the Ljubljana Festival International Competition
- 2 March: Recital by Grigory Sokolov
