73rd Ljubljana Festival: A Summer of Culture and Art
A summer celebration of culture returns to Ljubljana as the 73rd edition of the city’s leading arts festival showcases a rich and diverse programme across its most iconic venues.
From 20 June to 12 September 2025, the Slovenian capital will once again be transformed into a hub of cultural energy with the 73rd edition of the Ljubljana Festival. One of the most prestigious and long-standing festivals in Europe, Ljubljana Festival brings together exceptional local and international artists for a rich programme of opera, ballet, musicals, symphonic and chamber concerts, jazz, theatre and visual arts.
Events will take place at some of the city’s most iconic venues, including Congress Square, the Križanke Summer Theatre, Cankarjev Dom, the Slovenian Philharmonic Hall and the National Gallery. This year’s programme includes a wide variety of highlights across genres, offering audiences an unforgettable summer experience.
