The Development Centre “Democracy through Culture” is civil society, non-profitable, non-govermental organization acting on the basis of the Statute. It was founded as an analytical and experimental centre (think-and-do tank) in 2001, by a group of researchers, experts, cultural and communication practitioners, and public activists.

Last decade, the Centre has acted efficiently on international, national and local level realiziing a set of successful projects, such as: Model 21, Intercultural Cities, Breaking down Stereotypes, COMUS, Cultural Development Indicators, Compendium, etc.
