Founded in 1992, the Festival Música Viva is Miso Music Portugal’s annual celebration of new music. It brings together Portuguese and international composers and performers. The festival champions contemporary creation and the evolving relationship between music and technology through concerts, staged works, premieres, and bold formats that invite experimentation and close listening. Each edition is a meeting point for ideas and aesthetics, where emerging voices share the stage with established artists, and audiences experience the music of our time up close.
