Dr Matjaz Vidmar is an interdisciplinary researcher, lecturer and strategist at the University of Edinburgh. He is the Deputy Director of Festival Futures and co-leads The New Real programme - a partnership between the University, Alan Turing Institute, and Edinburgh’s Festivals – as a laboratory for the arts, technology and culture of tomorrow, creating spaces and moments when near futures can be experienced and made.
