Leonie Facius

Tuesday, 29 April 2025 - EFFE Seal for Festival Cities and Regions at the City Chambers Workshop

Leonie Facius is a Research Master student of the programme “Cultural leadership” at the University of Groningen. She is currently working at the European Festivals Association (EFA) as a research trainee, where she is also involved in the EFFE Seal’s research project which centers around the analysis of the values of festivals in local cultural policies, in cooperation with the independent researcher Elena Polivtseva. Her background is a bilingual interdisciplinary Bachelor programme in the field of culture within the German and Italian contexts, graduating from the Universities Regensburg and Trieste. In addition, she is currently engaged in publishing an article with her Professor Dr. Beate Peter from the University of Groningen.
