RUTA Festival takes place from December to October each year

RUTA connects six theatres from across the former Yugoslavia through a year-long festival that brings performances, co-productions, and artistic exchange to audiences in each partner city.

Partners: Belgrade Drama Theatre (Serbia), Ljubljana City Theatre (Slovenia), Tivat Cultural Centre (Montenegro), Skopje Drama Theatre (North Macedonia), Chamber Theatre 55 (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Ulysses Theatre (Croatia).

RUTA Festival is the best example of multiculturalism, which has resulted in several co-productions that become part of the repertoire of the festival. RUTA aims to expand beyond the borders of the current region with the aim of promoting the artistic values of this part of Europe.
