Davinia Galea
With over thirty years experience in the cultural sector as a musician, event producer, policy maker and CEO, Davinia has co-authored policies, led successful bids and is an appointed expert and advisor in international fora. Davinia is the founder and Managing Director of ARC Research & Consultancy. ARC is the EFFE Hub for Malta. Between 2007-2013, she was Executive Director of the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts. She chaired and co-authored Malta’s first Cultural Policy in 2011. She has worked as a short-term consultant to the World Bank Group in 2019-2020.
Through ARC, Davinia is an active participant and member in various Mediterranean and European networks such as the European Festivals Association, Medinea, Culture Action Europe, Pearle*, and IGCAT. She is a visiting lecturer at the School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta. Davinia has a BA in Music and History of Art from the University of Malta and an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from Sussex University.
