Chris has been involved in the Swedish and international culture scene since 2018, after moving to Gothenburg from Vienna. Having first joined the Gothenburg Fringe team to help with media and marketing, he eventually became one of the festival directors. Since graduating from University College Dublin in 2011, Chris has worked as a journalist and broadcaster in the sports world, including working for the European Handball Federation from 2012 to 2017. As a freelancer, he took the opportunity to throw himself into his passion for performing arts, transferring his ability for event organisation and promotion for Gothenburg Fringe and independent artists. With little discernible talent for performing, Chris is content with focusing on providing a platform for others to shine and helping them share their stories.
