Festivals are lived experiences; they are felt, shared, and carried through time and memory.

Beyond their economic value, festivals are transformative spaces where community is imagined, nurtured, and celebrated. As the living heart of our democracies, they allow the Other to become an extension of the Self, reaffirming citizenship through mutual recognition, tolerance, and equality.

As liminal spaces, festivals celebrate cultural diversity and offer moments of resistance, belonging, and collective well-being.

Alexandre has worked in both the contemporary art world and the music industry, respectively in Spain and the United States.
Currently pursuing a double master's degree in Art & Creative Industries Management, he also studied European policy during his Erasmus semester in Finland.

While assisting EFA during his internship, Alexandre is writing his master’s thesis on festival practices, exploring them through the lenses of governance, community well-being, and cultural rights.
