Svetlana Ivanović

Svetlana Ivanović (Budva, Montenegro) graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade, from the Department of Serbian Literature and Language with Comparative Literature. She worked as a professor of Serbian language and literature at the JUSMŠ “Danilo Kiš” in Budva. 

At “Theatre City,” she worked as the literary and visual programme coordinator, the public relations officer, and the head of the marketing department. She is the long-time editor of “Poets' Square,” the literary section of the “Theatre City” festival's programme. She currently serves as chief programme editor of PI “Theatre City.” 
Additionally, she was a member of the Board of the “Theatre City” (2013–2025), a member of the Budva Municipality Council for Culture (2019–2023), of the Working Group for the Program of the Development of Culture of the Municipality of Budva 2024–2028 and for the Development of the Action Plan for Culture of the Budva Municipality 2024–2026, and of the Jury of the State Award "Thirteenth of July“ in 2023. 

Svetlana wrote several reviews and texts and she is also book editor in the fields of literary and cultural theory and non-fiction. 
Furthermore, she is a doctoral candidate  in the Literature program at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.
