For many, September is synonymous with the reawakening of the artistic season. As festivals prepare ahead or reflect on recent successes, EFA offers new opportunities to reconnect and engage.

For its 2025 edition, our EFA Member Culturescapes and partner festivals in Africa and Europe are creating a discussion space to rethink and reimagine power, representation, and collaboration within and between festivals on the two continents.

From 4 till 6 September 2025, our EFA Member I Suoni delle Dolomiti had the pleasure of welcoming three representatives of EFA to visit their festival taking place from 27 August till 4 October amid the Trentino Dolomites.

A delegation of 12 EFA Members took part in the grape - Greek Agora of Performance programme of the Athens Epidaurus Festival and the Fearless Festivals Forum encouraging connections, collaborations and co-productions between festivals in the East and West.
