Gilles Doré has been active in the performing arts sector for over 30 years, with recognised expertise in arts export, show production, and creative centre management. Since March 2022, he has been the Executive Director of CINARS, after joining the organisation as Director of International Development in 2019. He has led prospecting missions, developed strategic alliances, and designed digital initiatives such as the CINARS WEB and CINARS App. His strategic and international expertise makes him a key player in the promotion of performing arts worldwide.

Before CINARS, he was director of international development at Art Circulation, worked at O Vertigo Dance company and he also managed the production and creation centre Caserne Letourneux TSF. Gilles also served as a consultant for various cultural institutions such as Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Ministry of Canada Heritage, Ville de Montréal. More recently, he has been invited to speak at international forums on the performing arts to share current trends in the international circulation of contemporary performing arts in South Korea, Australia, France, Japan, Italy, Canada.
