For many years he has been working as a "literary mediator" between different European literatures, regularly translating poetry and prose, co-editing journals and anthologies, and working on the organization of various literary projects, events and festivals. He currently divides his time between Ljubljana, Berlin and Prague. In Slovenia, he is an active member of several literary organizations (vice-president of the Slovenian Literary Critics Association, representative of the Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee of PEN Slovenia, artistic director of the Fabula Festival, chief coordinator of the European poetry platform Versopolis, the ArtAct, ThinkPub and NovelEU projects); in Berlin, he regularly collaborates with the Lettretage literary house; in Prague, he is programme director of the Prague Microfestival international literary festival.

As someone working across literary and cultural platforms in different parts of Europe, I see well-being and health as essential frameworks for ensuring that our festivals not only reflect artistic excellence but also foster inclusive, empathetic and sustainable environments for both audiences and artists alike.
