The Association is the island's resource network for over 400 plus Festivals and cultural events in Ireland - North and South. It partners the Government and Assembly Executive in delivering a co - ordinated agenda of Festivals and Event developmet for community, arts, cultural and tourism sectors. It markets, supports and advocates for the sector by running development and training programmes and publishing and delivering a raft of publication and emarketing initiatives. This festival has been an EFA member since 2006.
