Festivals are where borders fade and Europe comes alive through music and culture.
With a background in European Studies, Elisa has long approached Europe through culture, music, and festivals. Engaging with festivals across different European contexts has shaped her interest in how artistic practices create spaces of encounter and exchange beyond borders.
Joining the European Festivals Association as an intern, she is motivated by questions of European cooperation and cultural circulation, with a focus on how festivals and music reflect and shape connections beyond institutional frameworks.
